The workweek ended well enough. Apart from some folks at the office getting sick, today was still productive. I had another pretty good client meeting in the afternoon, so that helped me feel like I had done a good job for the day.
Tonight's a joint birthday show for 4 different O Bar performers - O Divas Valeria and Amanda, along with O Boys Jude and Cedric. These combined birthday shows have proven to be interesting because they try to divide the spotlight across multiple people, so that could result in a weird show. Well, "weird" in the sense that there isn't a central "theme" to the numbers, and instead we get a taste of what each player likes. Whatever comes out, I know I'm going to enjoy every bit of it.
Beyond that, Game Night Picks is proving to be fairly interesting. I don't think it's a perfect game night resource, but it certainly has a lot of potential. It goes a long way towards trying to make all that Board Game Geek data more usable beyond its typical scope as a forum site. I don't know how this resource will stay free for what it is, but while we have access to it, I think I'm going to seriously try to use it for all of our game nights - or at least the game nights with our more regular gaming friends.
So it's O Bar night, a big board game night tomorrow, and then an RPG session on Sunday.
