Turning O Bar takeout food into different meals has become a new hobby of sorts. We end up with extra food whenever we need to finish our table consumable and choose to invest in food instead of drinks. As long as I have some sort of cabbage or other cruciferous vegetables on hand, I can make some sort of a mix that uses the bar chow as the protein. The easiest ones to mix in are O Bar's chicken poppers or their sausage platter. When we take home tokwa't baboy or spam fries, those are sort of better on their own, so any veggies are better off prepared as an accompanying bowl of roughage.
There are some interesting things happening at work, and I am very curious to see how things will pan out. There's nothing conclusive at this point - too many things remain in the air. But I guess it's safe to say that there's a very strong potential for a really interesting set of changes that will give many of us a lot to think about and work on in the coming months. Stay tuned, I guess.
Back at home, things feel quite quiet in contrast with the weekend. We had so many things going on for Tobie's birthday that today feels almost eeriliy slower in comparison. I can't complain - the valleys are just as important as the peaks after all. And given we'll be busy with another Komiket event all weekend, I know we'll need all the rest that we can get now before we see how we can survive what the weekend will entail.
For now, I have O Bar videos to catch up with and maybe some reading that I can squeeze in somewhere.
