Birthday board gaming for Tobie was a lot of fun. He had free reign to choose which games to bring for the game night and he dug up some old favorites that haven't been in circulation for a while. We started with a new game called Roam, but then proceeded to play a tricky older game, Dungeon Lords. I was surprised that I managed to win that as I've had pretty much results with the game over the years.
Tobie also managed to play through an Ark Nova game at the other table while in got to host a session of SETI. There were quite a number of other games played, but as a whole it was a lot of good fun. Plus the group had a pretty fancy cake as anchor for the celebrations for the night.
Today we have a guest over for even more gaming and it's proving to be a fun session. He's new to games but quite eager and is proving to be a good study. It's just a shame that he doesn't live that near. It says a lot about his commitment to getting into gaming that he made the effort to come over today.
