We barely left the Sietch all weekend, and it has been a good couple of rest and recharge.
We weren't able to get friends to come over to game, thus instead we had nightly virtual game sessions via Board Game Arena and got a decent amount of gaming in. Just last night we played Dice Forge, Earth, and Ark Nova. And after that, Tobie and I still stayed up to play 50 Clues: Dead or Alive, which is the first of 3 interconnected games telling a dark story. We had played another trilogy in this series some time back, and it was rather disturbing. This one didn't start out as dark, but I can see how things can go south quite quickly.
Over the last three nights, we've also consistently stayed up all night thus resulting in sleeping past noon after, which is a weird gift in itself. We also haven't been eating the healthiest things. While I have cooked proper meals across the days, we've also had regular McDonald's breakfast post-gaming and a lot of snacking on chips during game sessions. But hey, holidays are a special time, and we'll get back to more disciplined eating in the coming workweek.
I hope you all had a good long weekend (or at least a weekend) in your own way. We all enjoy different activities and how you chose to spend your free time is utlimately the right thing to do.
