Today was definitely a holiday work day. My first meeting went weird, so it ended up getting rescheduled to next week. I thought I'd have some free time for other tasks, but other queries came in and I lost a fair amount of time to more reports-related work. It seems Meta has made some changes to the Instagram reporting API, which has made comparing figures for the latest month difficult to reconcile with previous months that still used the old computations. Fun. I got those reports settled, but I'll still need to explain to the team exactly what happened.
I still had an important client meeting in the afternoon, and that went pretty well. We had to go over both monthly and quarterly numbers, but it's a rather fun project, so I don't mind.
We had made tentative plans for a friend to come over for board games, but family obligations got in the way, so we had to abort. We pivoted to gaming with friends online via Board Game Arena, which is our primary fallback ever since we moved to the South.
I should catch up on my reading. I'm starting to fall behind.
