Monday was as busy as expected. I had a fair number of reports to tackle including creating a new one and helping check on the work of others. I had more media things to settle because there's always a campaign running here or there. And no day is complete without paperwork because that's how things go.
It was the sort of workday where by the end of things I realized that I had barely clocked over 2k steps for the day despite my efforts to not stay idle for too long. I had also not realized that it was close to 6pm since the sun was still out and I felt like I still had so much left to do. The joys of working in Singapore.
But we are in the "endgame" of this trip, to be all Marvel dramatic about things. I got my reminder to check in for my flight and I'm hoping I managed things such that I won't end up with a seatmate - I checked the app just now and things are looking good. After work, I ended up walking around the nearby mall to catch up on steps and then I picked up the usual family supplies that I need to bring home. I'm already thinking of pasalubong to bring home to people and got to purchase a few things today with plans for what I'll get at the airport.
I have one more full day tomorrow and then by Wednesday it's going to be a blitz. I scheduled myself for the noon flight home, which means I'll have just enough time to see the boys off to school before I need to make my way to the airport. I'll stretch for as long as possible since the process of dropping my bag and clearing immigration is ridiculously fast.
The clock is ticking.
