I'm composing this blog post while on my flight to Singapore - thankfully there were no issues with the inflight WiFi this time around. Things have been pretty smooth thus far. I managed to get a Grab car to the airport on the first try and didn't have to wait too long. I got to the airport early and barely had to queue for check-in and immigration. The longest queue was the security check, but that was more because of several passengers in my queue who all had prohibited items in their carry-on luggage like lighters and plastic water bottles.
It has been a while since my last flight and I was surprised to discover that the Starbucks at Terminal 3 had closed. I made do with am alternate source of caffeine, but it was still pretty surprising. Maybe we'll get lucky and get a ZUS Coffee in its place.
This is going to be a relatively short trip compared to some of my other times in Singapore, and it's also going to be a busy one. We have important meetings to get through and I don't know if I'll have the opportunity to meet up with Singapore-based friends while I'm in town. But we'll see how it goes - 9-ish days is still a fair amount of time.
Happy Monday, everyone.
