Last night's O Bar event was a lot of fun but also bittersweet. On the one hand, we were celebrating the birthdays of three talented artists in the company of good friends and a surprise Tobie. But then it was also one of the performer's last day at the bar and thus a lot of the song choices for their numbers were all about saying goodbye or making the most of the last opportunities. And it felt like he REALLY put a lot of effort into things as he was really, REALLY good that night.
Today we have a board game night scheduled. I had positioned it as a welcome-back activity for Tobie, which is still true in that sense, even if he came home a day earlier. We weren't too hungover at O Bar and managed to wake up in time to make our way to Tang and meet one of our guests for a late lunch. We all share a love for Korean food and eating at Tang has become quite the delight that we enjoy sharing. Plus we had a lot of catch up on given our respective travels and K-Dramas that we've been watching as well.
We're going to have a LOT of fun tonight as we have more time to game versus our usual after work Friday night sessions. I hope you all have a good weekend as well.
