Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 881
So the work thing I remember to do last night took a lot longer than I had anticipated and I ended up working on it for a better part of today. It wasn't overly difficult work, but it was certainly very detailed and somewhat tedious work, as is the nature of digital ads. But hey, this is the career path I've sort of mapped out for myself, so I'm not complaining. It just doesn't change the amount of effort needed for these things.
After all that work stuff, it's finally the weekend. Tonight we're going to play board games with a friend - IN PERSON. We rarely have guests at the Sietch despite the relatively lighter quarantine restrictions, but this is a game night that is LONG overdue.
Tomorrow I'm getting my monthly foot spa to try and bring my callused feet back to a state that's a lot more human. We'll probably play a few more games in the afternoon before it's time to head to O Bar tomorrow night for Bench's birthday show.
And then on Sunday, we'll see if we can make it to the grocery after a night of drinking. Otherwise, we'll at least have our Horror on the Orient Express game to keep us busy.
Oh, and I just finished reading Tiamat's Wrath and it was SO, so good. Definitely one of the stronger books in the series. And this pretty much leaves me with the last book in the series, and I'm not sure if I'm really ready for all this to come to an end.
