Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 287
After spending most of Christmas day feeling like crap, I was really looking forward to feeling better today, especially since we had an online Christmas game night planned with the FGTC, one of our more important gaming groups. It was our first big effort to really play digital versions of board games together versus quick things like Jackbox-style party games.
The biggest change today was actually having an appetite given yesterday it was a struggle to feel like eating anything. It was so weird. So to feel hungry again today was a relief and we even gambled on our weekly Sariwon delivery meal instead of having something simpler like soup or whatever. I have no regrets for hitting that particular target running. My stomach has generally been better today with no major trips to the bathroom, but I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch and all that.
But yeah, online game night tonight. This is the real deal - the people who we love trying new games together and enjoy testing our wits and skills. I super miss gaming with these people considering before we'd have lengthy marathon game sessions once a month like clockwork but over quarantine, we haven't had that opportunity. And if tonight goes well, it'll definitely become a more regular thing for as long as we're still dealing with this global pandemic.
