Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 284
When we rolled for topics for tonight's Baduy Pride episode, most of the topics that we drew were board game related, which didn't feel quite right for today. So instead, Tobie suggested that we talk about whatever reminds us of Christmas, and this simple idea turned out to be the absolutely perfect thing to talk about, especially given my non-Christmas feelings yesterday.
Given it's a holiday tomorrow, we took our time with the episode and just kept on talking until we had nothing else to say. And I was in a much better mood for tonight, so much so that I kept on singing different Christmas-related songs during the episode without much care for whether or not I was still singing in tune. And honestly, I felt a lot better about the holiday after that live stream.
This year's Christmas festivities will certainly feel different from the other years, but it doesn't mean it won't be any less special. Tobie and I will spend some quality time with our respective families and then reunite tomorrow.
It's going to be a good Christmas holiday.
