From Inquirer.net There's been a lot of debate as of late when it comes to the subject of political dynasties in Philippine politics. The usual argument against legislation preventing the proliferation of such dynasties is the need to allow the skills and merit of the individual win out over any desire to stop such dynasties from thriving. Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 388 I don't exactly go crazy for Lazada sale days, especially since my typical purchases as of late are keto food items and ingredients. But I do try to take advantage of whatever limited promotions happen to intersect with my needs. During the recent Lazada Birthday Sale, I ordered a bunch of keto items with minimal discounts (as usual) and used my one P100 voucher for a replacement pair of Bluetooth headphones since my current ones have stopped pairing for some reason. To be fair, I've used those headphones pretty much daily since I bought as they are my workout headphones, so I understand why they might have reached end of life sooner than later. The item was supposed to get delivered before the Holy Week and some of my keto stuff managed to arrive in that timeframe. 02DB2: BGC Experiments

I needed to step out for an errand after work, so we opted to turn it into a thing and risk trying someplace new for dinner. Given we're leaving BGC next year, we might as well make the most of such evening explorations. Plus we had already eaten at Tang yesterday and we didn't want to go two days in a row. After much walking, we ended up at Teppan Okochi Ryujin that was mainly interesting because it had a pricey-but-still-manageable set meal that seemed like a decent gamble. Plus it did fit the bill of something new - and we were in the mood for Japanese. Cue Tobie teasing me about writing a review. TL;DR: The set meal didn't feel like it was super worth the money. If we do go back, it'll just be for mains. It was a slow enough night for us to give us a sort of private booth/room as they had two of them by the door and each could seat four people.
