We're about to watch Deadpool after another stressful, busy day. Perfect.

It's been a while since we've (1) watched a movie at an Ayala Cinema and (2) gotten a chance to use my silly M-Pass card.

And Tobie prepared soft shell crab salad for dinner. It was awesome.

Today is a very good day.

From Inquirer.net There's been a lot of debate as of late when it comes to the subject of political dynasties in Philippine politics. The usual argument against legislation preventing the proliferation of such dynasties is the need to allow the skills and merit of the individual win out over any desire to stop such dynasties from thriving. Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 388 I don't exactly go crazy for Lazada sale days, especially since my typical purchases as of late are keto food items and ingredients. But I do try to take advantage of whatever limited promotions happen to intersect with my needs. During the recent Lazada Birthday Sale, I ordered a bunch of keto items with minimal discounts (as usual) and used my one P100 voucher for a replacement pair of Bluetooth headphones since my current ones have stopped pairing for some reason. To be fair, I've used those headphones pretty much daily since I bought as they are my workout headphones, so I understand why they might have reached end of life sooner than later. 02DBE: ❤️ ⭕️Boys (A History?)

Today is the birthday of Jonbel, one of the O Boys and one of O Bar's resident choreographers. I wanted to write something about him for his birthday, but that really means talking about the O Boys as a group because their story is forever intertwined with his. And as someone who has been documenting O Bar through photos and videos ever since Tobie started bringing me to the bar, I have a unique historical record to go through. And this was done through a series of questions I found myself asking. Pardon the coming nostalgia - I always get mushy around the time of our anniversary (which is this weekend) and the O Bar anniversary in December. My oldest selfie with Jonbel is from 2018, which reflects when I was conscious of his contributions to the bar and wanted to get a photo. And that was harder then since the O Boys didn't actually go around for tips all that often, so you'd mainly only see them on stage.
