The haze was pretty bad today, although I did not have an immediate respiratory reaction. I'm still more sniffly at my sister's house because of her dog more than the ambient haze particulates, but touch all the wood just in case. We mostly stayed indoors, but the skies outside had the perpetual look of being on the brink of rain. But if you look into the distance, you'll quickly lose sight of distant buildings because of the haze hanging in the air like bad fog. Quite scary stuff.
My left eye has been rather twitchy today. This happens on and off, and eye drops seem to help as the eye doctor mentioned I have a tendency towards dry eyes during my last checkup, but admittedly I'm not sure if the twitching is related. But regular use of drops seems to help calm things down, although I know it probably means needing to give my eyes a break from devices and such.
Monday was pretty busy workwise, but thankfully we didn't have any meetings. A Monday without meetings means you can just focus on your work, and that's bliss. In my case, I had ads to manage, reports to put together, and an impromptu ad campaign to put together. In other words, all the fun stuff. It was definitely a productive start to the week.
The only other highlight of the day was more quality time with the boys and helping to put them to sleep. They don't want to listen to as many stories as on my last trip, but I still went through two books before they started to settle down. It just shows that they continue to grow and develop so rapidly that the routines of the 3 months ago have already shifted a bit. Time flies.
