The rains still aren't letting up, which is quite troubling. The weather reports are a little confusing, but basically they all reinforce that it's just a lot of rain and not necessarily one big typhoon or anything like that. And to be fair, it's a lot of rain but no strong winds, which is a small blessing in itself. It means I still can't sun-dry laundry, and I'm not sure if it's waiting for the weather to shift before washing. I'll probably have to do a priority load with the dryer this weekend just to avoid getting completely overwhelmed by how much there's to deal with.
If it's any consolation, we don't have any firm plans to leave the Sietch for most of the weekend, so that's prudent enough. It'll make hosting any guests challenging, but at least it's not as wild as actively going around the metropolis. There are still the benefits of online gaming as well, with platforms like Board Game Arena or EDHPlay (for Magic Commander), as long as people are patient enough to play via video call.
At least we're playing some Magic tonight. Then I need to figure out what to write for the Geeky Guide this week. I'm still struggling to come up with new article ideas as of late, but I keep pushing since I need the blog to keep its momentum - whatever that means.
