03039: Much Monday

Monday - VibeOn Beef Tapa

The weather forecast for the day promised varying degrees of rain all day, but we woke up to some muted sunshine. I was sorely tempted to rush a load of laundry regardless, but I erred on the side of caution and avoided doing so. Given how the day actually panned out, I think I could have forced it. But it would have been stressful, and I doubt the clothes would have fully dried.

At least we received some very heartwarming personal "news" to start the day. That was nice.

My shift started with back-to-back calls ranging from an interview to a tech onboarding. I really shouldn't schedule meetings that close together - I was jumping from call to call and asking people to wait since earlier meetings ran long.

After work, we got a massage and took a gamble on VibeOna restaurant in the BF area whose branding is totally bizarre. We didn't have high expectations and just wanted to give it a go for the heck of it, but the food turned out to be pretty decent. The restaurant needs to tighten its menu and figure out its concept, but it wasn't a total waste of money, at least.
