Well, yesterday was a LOT - and it drained me a bit more than expected. We got home just in time for this week's Kadiwa market at the village, but I zonked out shortly after getting home. Ended up missing our bi-weekly family book club meeting and woke up well past lunchtime. But hey, we did juggle both a big board game event and an O Bar celebration and were up for practically 24 hours, so go figure.
The birthday show itself was a lot of fun. We once again only had a small table as only one other friend could join us. We made the most of things and still enjoyed ourselves and celebrated the start of the night. I'm glad I caught this event before my upcoming trip - although I'm going to miss the next one for sure since I'm out of the country for 2 weeks.
We had a pocket of time for a late brunch before we had to dash off to Circuit for Komiket Makati. We were in a bit of a panic because the schedule stated Tobie would be at the event at 04:00 pm, and Tobie could only remember that he had his comic book reading at 05:00 pm. It turned out that the 04:00 pm call time was for his slot at the book signing table, and he still had the reading at 05:00 pm. We still saw a few familiar faces there, and it helped make the trek feel more than worth it. I even had some family members with booths of their own this time around, so I made sure to patronize them to support their artistic efforts.
We also took the opportunity to get some errands done since Circuit is still technically a mall, albeit a weird one. But it still had more options than SM BF, so that helped me check off a few things I needed for my Singapore trip this week. We also had a lovely dinner with a friend and got fully caught up on everyone's business and talked a LOT about O Bar as a shared passion.
I'm glad that it's a work holiday tomorrow, as I still have a few more errands that I need to resolve before my trip. I'm already checked in for my flight, but I'll settle the rest of my paperwork tomorrow.
It's going to be a crazy start to the month of June!

Thank you so much, love love, for always being my anchor of sanity and my source of constant support and peace. And I am forever grateful how patient you've been with me when I have my moods. I love you so much.
