Work was pretty busy, which is to be expected from a Monday after taking Friday off. There were the usual Monday things and other meetings, and then suddenly I had lost the whole day. Time flies when it flies away, or something like that.
We've been dealing with a weird mix of scheduled Maynilad maintenance schedules and unexpected water service interruptions. I've taken to plotting the different announced schedules on a calendar just to see how it all plays out. Looking at things, some of the unscheduled outages overlap with the official maintenance window, so that's just silly. Ultimately, it means that we've only been having water during a narrow window of time in the wee hours of the morning, and that's it.
Today's source of joy: we finally watched the second season of Schmigadoon (or should I say Schmicago?) and OMG it was sooo good. Okay, maybe the personal journey for the leads wasn't as strong as the first season. But the songs were just GOLDEN given how it mashed up musicals from the 1960s to the 1980s. And I have to admit, these touched on musicals closer to my heart than the MGM musicals that were the focus of the first season. Why the heck did they cancel this show?
There was something else that I wanted to bring up, but I lost it in the process of writing this blog post. Blame my distracted brain or whatever. Back to another Hallmark cosy murder mystery while I either work on O Bar videos or more game reviews for the Geeky Guide.
