Today is Cinco de Mayo, but it's not like I celebrate anything related to that. Today is also 5.5, if you're into retail mega sale days, but I have nothing in my cart since I did some early shopping the other week. Today is a Tuesday, and at least that means it's not a Monday.
Reports week continues at work, and my head is full of numbers. Despite the many advances in AI and other forms of automation, reports are still reports, and they ultimately need personal attention. It doesn't help that I juggle many different reports for many different projects, and I need to get into the right headspace before I get started on any of them because each campaign or whatever is unique.
Tobie is at the airport right now because a relative is flying in tonight. They'll be in and out of the house, but it'll be a bit of a change in routine for sure. Our weekend isn't too busy just yet, but we have confirmed some game plans for Saturday night, so that's something to look forward to.
Last note, it has been a while since we last had a chance to play Magic. I ended up revisiting my all-Doctors deck and decided to make a few tweaks. It was already pretty good, but I had some ideas that came to me for minor adjustments while keeping it within Bracket 2. I made a total of 3 card swaps, and I generally feel good about it. But I won't really know until I put the deck to the test again.
And I just learned about Horde Magic as an offshoot of Comamnder? This might be fun, haha
