Today's weather forecast projected a mostly sunny morning but a rainy afternoon. We had a similar forecast yesterday, so I squeezed in a small load for unmentionables, but the whole day was sunny. I was a little bolder today by watching heavy stuff like walking shorts and pants, and had a mostly sunny day, save for an isolated shower right in the middle of our weekly management meeting. It was a good thing that Tobie was able to run out and save the laundry before the worst of things.
The other day, we finished the second season of Interview with the Vampire, and it was quite a solid ending. The third season moves on to the Lestat book, and we're definitely going to watch. I'm just not sure if we'll explore the other related shows just yet. Beyond that, we've resumed watching House, a show I've generally enjoyed but never quite finished. We're now at Season 5, well into the reshuffling of his supporting cast. Thank the stars they didn't lose Wilson!
And we're crawling through Boys Over Flowers. Definitely an acquired taste.
On the book front, I'm wading into the Dark Ages books of BattleTech, with Death's End still our family book club title. I'm also working through the Rebirth-era Detective Comics before I circle back to the main Batman books. I have mixed feelings about this point in DC in-universe history, but we'll see how things pan out. I just felt guilty that I had purchased these editions in various sales many years ago, but I still haven't gotten around to reading them, given everything else I read. And I'm still mainly a Marvel guy, so the DC stuff often takes a back seat.
