It's a good thing that we drove out for a grocery run yesterday, as it was raining almost nonstop today. And while we probably could have ordered out for some of our meals, it felt prudent to just work with what we had and avoid complicating things. Just getting from the Sietch to the main house was made all the more difficult by the weather, so it was quite a gloomy day. I'm just glad that the weather didn't cause any power or internet service interruptions, given our work-from-home lives.
It took a lot of effort, but I've gotten fully caught up on the big start-of-month stuff I had been trying to settle since yesterday. I still have a lot of work ahead of me this week, but I'll keep at it. I want this week to end on a high note, and that includes achieving a few personal milestones I'm throwing into the mix. Might as well aim to get more done, right? It can only help the company in the long term when we keep at it.
Other than that, I'm back to either reading or trying to process more of my O Bar videos. I've rather taken to creating CapCut video montages for social to act as "trailers" for some of the more dynamic performance videos, but I don't have firm data to indicate whether or not they're helping drive traffic to the original YouTube videos. Everything begins and ends with getting people on YouTube because I'd rather people watch the full performances and not just social-friendly excerpts. We do what we can to support O Bar however we can, after all.
Now back to trying to make productive use of my free time. 😅
