Today is Philippine Independence Day, and the weather has been generally comfortable. It was a lot rainier yesterday, but I still opted to avoid doing laundry just in case. The dryer option is still there, but with electricity costs being higher...yeah, we have to be smarter about these things.
I still had work today, but things weren't too crazy. We're past the bulk of my reports-related work, and we're moving into the client WIP cycle, and then everything will repeat next month.
I haven't figured out how to reincorporate some non-personal blogging into my daily schedule, given there are still a lot of things going on. I find that I'm struggling to hit my 12k daily step goal effectively, so I end up doing some pretty steady pacing after dinner. This can take at least an hour at times, which further eats into my free time in the evening. I have been considering trying to jog again (when the weather isn't so gloomy), but I haven't figured out when in the day I can do that. I don't consistently wake up early enough to jog before work, plus most days the mid-morning sun feels quite dangerous. I'd prefer to jog without a full stomach, but right after work, I'm typically preparing dinner, during which the "ideal" jogging window would be for me.
I really need to figure something out. My current efforts are decent, but obviously aren't making a more significant impact on my overall level of fitness and health. I haven't even dared to get back on the weighing scale since the move. I'll deal with that eventually. At least I'm not unhappy? Haha
