Our family's background of dispensing pharmaceuticals has empowered me with above-average knowledge of over-the-counter medications. And thus I have been aggressively attacking our current bout with the sniffles with whatever I can manage. This means no-drowse level meds in the daytime so it doesn't impair work and full-fledged stuff at night. I'm also taking cough medicine because my throat is being a little annoying. All this seems to be working well enough together as I got through the day and I don't feel totally miserable tonight. I think I'll be able to shake this off sooner rather than later.
It's another day of making no progress with our organizing efforts. Our sneezing left and right hasn't exactly motivated us to stir up dusty things again, but we'll get back to it eventually. At the very least, new home-centric Lazada purchases have started arriving at my 2.2. shopping, I'm rather keen about some of the things we're expecting.
Today's arrivals: a new bag of coffee beans and a mini-printer for sticker labels. And you know I am going to go to town labeling things once I get things figured out.
I feel like we're going to be in this state of finishing touches for the foreseeable future. The Sietch is a mess but it's livable. We're able to work out of the Sietch, but we should really get the home office set up so that we still have quality time with the family in the main house. So many things to think about.
In other news, we are thoroughly enjoying The Diplomat and Abbott Elementary. The show scratches two very different itches, but they're both solid. It's nice to be watching TV again after work.
