I still had work this morning, but it wasn't so bad. Most clients were also off for the holidays and the few items that we had to address we're too crazy. I mainly had backend work to address so that's just as well. Ads work can be quite comforting at times given the repetitive tasks and such.
For New Year's Eve, we're spending time with Tobie's family. Dinner is already done and we tried a few games and other bits, but we still have a few hours to kill before the fireworks. I have my Kindle with me, so I'm ready for anything at this point.
I achieved my reading goal for the year and I have a bit more time to squeeze in a title or two before midnight. We're just going to take things easy before the clock strikes twelve.
I'm only blogging on my phone, so it's not the best set up for writing anything more profound as an end of year piece. Maybe I'll write something tomorrow. Or maybe it'll wait for the weekend.
But on the whole, it has been a good year and there's a lot to be thankful. We have some big plans for next year and I'm pretty excited for how things may turn out.
