I'm finally back home in BGC and the Sietch is a mess. Tobie has been slowly working on moving our stuff to the new old place in Parañaque and that has displayed a number of other things. Things are going to get a bit worse before they get better, as is the way of things. But the move is really happening.
I had sent out enquiries for recommendations for packing and moving services and it looks like our best bet is something like Asian Tigers. It's going to cost us like another month of rent, but it's also going to save us so much time, so that'll make it worth it. We'll try to formally set something up after the New Year holiday period, I suppose, and take things from there. In the meantime, we're still going to do our best to get other stuff moved there to somewhat reduce the potential packing costs. We've been here for quite a while and we obviously have a LOT of stuff.
All in all, it's nice to be home after all that time away. I'm glad that we got a lot of family time and had a lot of fun while still getting a lot done. The holiday period isn't quite over and now we'll need to celebrate a bit with Tobie's family as well at least for the New Year. And I'm also eager to get back to our O Bar family as well because I still want to spend some of the holiday period with them as well.
Now to catch up on TV shows we didn't get to watch while Tobie and I were apart plus getting back to the whole packing and moving business. Proper year end stuff can wait for tomorrow.
