The Saturday O Bar event was formally announced and after a lot of back and forth, we've finally confirmed a table group. So it looks like we're doing a double this weekend given both Friday and Saturday are event nights that we're attending.
In related news, my efforts to share 19 of my favorite O Bar performances on social has already hit some odd roadblocks. The first is that I'm super excited to share my faves and it's hard to limit myself to just one post a day. Second, I thought 19 was a ridiculously large number for any sort of social list, but after spending some time trying to map out the 19, I initially ended up with like 25 entries that I had to whittle down. I guess more is better than less, but it hurt to drop some of these numbers from the list as I really do love them.
It just goes to show that we love a LOT of O Bar performances over the year and it's really hard to limit ourselves to any fixed number of performances to celebrate. I already feel guilty for not featuring more numbers from recent years, but hey I gotta focus on something, right?
In other news, I've been falling behind on my reading again given other things we're juggling. I had already caught up in recent weeks but that's all gone as I'm again something like 6 books behind. And with December just around the corner, it truly is crunch time as it's easy to relax and increase my "workload" before the end of the year.
But hey, that still means I've finished 325 titles with only 41 to go (because it's a leap year). That's still nothing to sneeze at, right? I'll either cheat a bit with more graphic novels/trade paperback equivalents or maybe some trashy LGBT romances or something. Fun stuff. I'll pivot once I finish The End of All Things, which is the last of the Old Man's War books released thus far. It has been some pretty good reading, although these last two books have been a wee bit slower or of a different pace - probably because they were released serially.
Now back to my O Bar media queue. LOL
