So many things today! Let's blitz through.
I finally had Tobie take a look at my big toe as it has been quite painful when I apply pressure. I figured that I had cut it somewhere because this isn't exactly an uncommon occurrence for me, although I usually get cuts on my fingers and such. It turned out that it was a splinter. Worse, it was a hair that was acting as a splinter - something that seems to keep happening as well. I felt immediately better once he managed to tweezer it out and now I wish I had shown this to him days ago when the pain had first started.
This morning was also the Kylie Minogue Tension Tour presale for Mastercard holders and I had an alarm and everything. But in my panic come 10:00am, I first ended up registering for the Live Nation presale period on the 21st instead of going to SM Tickets. And when I got to SM Tickets, I realized that I had never signed up for an account here, so I had to rush through that first before being able to join the queue. By then, there were already over 4,000 people in queue ahead of me and the system was saying that I was going to wait for up to an hour. Thankfully it only took about 30 minutes and I managed to get tickets in the section I wanted. I was kinda terrified that we'd miss out since only one day has been announced for the PH leg of the tour thus far. It's costing us an arm and a leg...but it's Kylie. How often do we make the effort to watch a concert?
I kind of wish we had at least one other friend who could have joined us as we had snagged two out of three seats in the middle of the section. I wonder who will end up in that last seat.
Work was full of numbers from start to end. Actually, I had been fussing over reports the day before and that just carried over into today. And once we had gotten past the data set needed for today's meeting, I then had to hunker down and deal with my own data for efforts under my direct purview. I finished later than I would have liked, but at least I got it done.
After that, I had to meet up with Mom for important errands. Our schedule has changed given the whole Tagaytay house situation, so now my touchpoints are better addressed during weekdays until Tobie and I make the trek south to the house on the weekend. Another reminder of the need to move.
Now I'm back at the Sietch and Tobie is wrapping up an online RPG session. I'm feeling rather snackish - would it be terrible to indulge in something before bed? 😅
