After today's busy Monday shift, we invested a better part of our evening in the character creation session for another Pendragon campaign. We're still playing through The Great Pendragon Campaign under Tobie and that's not going to end anytime soon. But this is an entirely new iteration being run by a friend so both Tobie and I get to be players in a game together.
The main challenge was trying to figure out how to differentiate my character for this game versus the others I've portrayed in our ongoing campaign. I sort of have a decent concept but I'm not fully committed to it just yet. But hey, I typically need a bit of time to really grow into a character, so we'll see how it goes. I have no doubt that it'll be an interesting experience given all the differences between our current game and the quirkiness of gaming on a Monday.
So I'm going with a hunter-focused character who good survivalist skills and rare things like the ability to swim - not something knights are typically known for. He's still noble enough to have an estate to inherit but given the early death of his father, he's going to be rather rough around the edges and not good with courtly things. At least that's what I have so far.
Otherwise, I have a lot of other things that I want to do and things that I need to do, so maybe it's not like I have more to blog about for now.
