Tobie asked me how I wanted to celebrate my birthday tomorrow, but I really didn't have an answer. We've made some plans for later in the week, but there's nothing big for tomorrow. If anything, I made sure to order a Keto Filipino cake (complete with happy birthday dedication) for candle-blowing at midnight, but that's about it. I'm still working tomorrow and on Thursday as a mid-week "birthday leave" didn't feel like a great idea.
The "big" birthday celebration will be on Saturday at O Bar (of course), although this will be a "shared" event together with the birthday show of one of the queens. But that just means the show is going to be extra awesome and we're all going to have a good time. We've even reserved two tables to better accommodate the friends we expect to join us.
We've filed leave for Friday so that we have the whole day to chill a bit. Our regular Friday gaming friends are going to try to wrap up their respective work days as early as possible so we can start gaming as early as the afternoon and we'll just let things play out from there.
And I feel that that's pretty much all I need for this year. Having been in Singapore for the past few weeks has eliminated the need for even a staycation to make the birthday feel more special. I don't even feel like going out for dinner, but maybe we'll come up with something tomorrow. But yeah, I'm good. Life is good.
