02D65: Brain Parked for the Weekend

Friday - LEGO Hixel

We wrapped up our leadership meetings this week with some classic workshop activities that thankfully did not involve physical challenges. Instead, we had one of those "build your vision of the future" things using a bucket of LEGO bricks. It was a nice way to wrap up this particular leg of our business coaching journey, although that still leaves us with a lot of hard work ahead.

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to walk tonight as it had started to rain as we left the meeting venue. But things seemed stable enough to risk it after dinner and I still clocked another 5km+ walk. My Garmin continues to berate me for exercising on a day when it had determined that I was under a lot of stress, but it's not like I'm going to let my watch tell me what to do. Plus with another full day of eating, I really needed to walk to help me feel less bloated.

Tomorrow we're most likely crossing the border to Johore for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. The only real hurdle is the traffic, but it sort of looks like it may be a good weekend to get away. If the weather cooperates, I'll be able to join the nephews at Legoland and probably clock a lot of steps there. I also hope to get caught up on my reading a bit this weekend as I'm terribly behind pace for my reading goal given everything else going on.

I hope you all have a good weekend ahead, friends who still read this blog.
