02D4D: Rainy Tuesday

So the rain is apparently being driven by Typhoon Carina (International Name Gaemi). The eye isn't even directly over the Philippines - but the nature of these weather systems involves dragging in a lot of rain in their wake. It has been raining pretty much all day and the winds have been pretty steady. It's definitely a good day to have a work-from-home job.

The storm tracks place the typhoon pretty much in Taiwan pretty by tomorrow, but who knows how much longer we'll be dealing with the rains. I do hope things get back to normal sooner rather than later - Metro Manila does not do well with this sort of steady, ceaseless rain. Hope for the best.

I'm not 100% sure how I want to spend the rest of the night. Sure, it's easy to have 9-1-1 playing in the background as we do other stuff. I could go back to processing either O Bar videos or photos as I have albums dating back to last year that are still in queue. It's always a good chance to read more and try to make progress with my reading goal for the year. Or maybe Tobie and I can squeeze in a board game before bed whether we play with a physical copy or save on clean-up with a digital version.
