02CE5: Another Gaming Gap

Thursday - Tinola

It was a pretty busy work day, as is the way of things after any holiday. And while we only had one day off given we followed the Singapore work schedule, it still resulted in a lot of things that needed to get done. Plus we had some important client meetings, so there really wasn't a lot of time to be idle. There's still one more day tomorrow and I still have a lot of things on my to-do list.

The weekend is right around the corner and we have at least scheduled games for both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is with our regular gaming group. albeit a number of friends still won't be able to go. Sunday is the first time we're having a particular set of friends over to the Sietch and I'm super looking forward to finally gaming with them and not just hanging out at O Bar with them.

What we don't have is a game schedule for tomorrow as the confluence of events that also foiled our gaming guest plan for the Tuesday and Wednesday holidays still seems to be in effect. I get it, this weekend is the Songkran festival in Thailand and a lot of our non-straight friends are all in Bangkok this week. The complication is that there's a significant intersection between our set of gay friends, our set of gaming friends, and our set of friends who are available on Friday nights. We could try another push to have someone over for the first time or something, but that takes a bit more work. We might be good just taking things a little easier on Friday night and then focusing on more fun over the weekend. But we'll see how things pan out.

Maybe we can at least get some friends on Board Game Arena or something.
