The coming workweek is a holiday-filled week for many, but a rather busy one for us at work. This...is not a new update for this blog. Week after week after week I mention how busy things are and how busy things will continue to be moving forward. But at the same time, I don't feel bad about it. I honestly love the work that we do and I just hope that the rest of the team somehow appreciates what we hope to achieve. We're far from perfect, but we're trying really hard. And that has to count for something.
At least we had a great weekend to carry with us into the new week. We played Magic and learned a lot of great games, and still made time for some older ones. And we even had a pretty fulfilling RPG session today, so I can't really complain. My body is aching for more sleep and I really should make sure we don't stay up too late tonight. But yeah, totally had a good time.
Now I just wish my nose wasn't going haywire tonight. It feels like an allergic reaction to something and there's no shortage of potential triggers. Or this is just me needing more sleep and perhaps this will all clear in the morning.
I'm just waiting for the laundry cycle to finish, which should be around the same time we finish watching Avatar: The Way of Water. I also need to clear the dishes and then we'll be fully prepared for tomorrow.
