Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 1128
We had a pretty different mix of friends with us at O Bar last night, but we still had a lot of fun. We had initially reserved the date for a friend's birthday celebration, but beyond saying hello at the start of the night, we didn't really get to join his celebration in the VIP area. Instead, we had another birthday to celebrate at the table and we had our own fun throughout the night.
A lot of our regular O Bar companions were out of the country this weekend. The bulk of queer friends appeared to be in Thailand while other friends were in Japan. Naturally, I would have liked to have seen more familiar faces last night, especially after being out of the country for about 3 weeks now. But it's cool - our different schedules will synchronize in time.
We weren't too hungover today for our afternoon Pendragon RPG session. It's a good thing that we had squeezed in grocery time yesterday after the movie as we definitely needed to sleep in today. It's been a pretty hardy weekend ever since my flight landed last Friday and we had significant sleep debts to settle. Our post-gaming entertainment has included watching the Jack Reacher movie (more on that in a future blog post) and me making time to finish some reports that I need to send out first thing tomorrow.
