Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 1127
My first full day back has been a little tiring but is still fulfilling. Almost immediately after landing, we dove into a board game night with a friend. Initially, we stuck to lighter games in the hopes that another friend would still be able to join us. But when that didn't appear to be a possibility anymore, we pivoted to a full session of Ark Nova, which took quite a while to get through. But hey, it was still a good way to spend a Friday night.
Today we stepped out to watch Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. I had gotten to watch it in Singapore but I really wanted to make sure Tobie saw it too given he has a better grasp of the D&D lore than me. And I think it's safe to say that he rather enjoyed the movie as well despite some of its "inaccuracies" if you want to go that far. It made for a nice Saturday afternoon, at the very least.
Then we made time to go to the grocery so that we wouldn't stress about it tomorrow. It helped that we were already at the same SM where we go for resupply missions. That just leaves going out to O Bar tonight as our last agenda item for Saturday. I'm still feeling a bit tired but I'm determined to see the night through. Perhaps a bit more coffee is in order before we head out.
