02C6E: Sunday Non-Productivity

Sunday Dimsum

Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 1114

We spent a good Sunday at home and didn't have to worry about too many things. We started the day with some (very not keto) dimsum, which made for a hearty breakfast. But after we just retreated to the house and spent some time swimming/wading with the boys (mainly the older one). When I wasn't in the water, I was reading and I made a lot of good progress with the many titles I'm covering at the moment. And that makes for a good weekend indeed.

We'll make the blitz back to Singapore proper tomorrow and then immediately dive into the new workweek. We had discussed a lot of plans during the sessions last week and naturally a lot of this week is going to be colored by the need to actually get started on these items and start making actual progress. We definitely have to make the most of the momentum of the kick-off sessions and I'm excited to see how things will progress.

I'll also see if I can find time to meet up with different Singapore-based friends now that the Malaysia portion of my trip is largely settled. Holy Week isn't a big thing in Singapore so I'm pretty sure I'll be able to figure out stuff, even if it just means meeting up for dinner after work or whatever.

Hope you all got enough rest this weekend. We're all going to need that energy for a new week, which is also the start of April and the start of the quarter. Fun stuff!
