Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 1112
Today the was third and last day of our big leadership activity and what a whirlwind week it has been. We've been preparing for this kick-off for months now, but all that still didn't prepare us for how this week would turn out. I had read the book and done advance work in preparation for this week, but I was still surprised at the different discussions and the agreements we made. This is all still somewhat theoretical, but it also feels like a rather solid foundation for us to start.
I was emotional at the end of yesterday's session for various reasons. I suppose you could say that I was also emotional after today's session, but definitely in a more hopeful and excited manner. We have a lot of work ahead of us and a lot of education, training, and mindset-changing that we need to figure out how to get going. It's going to be a very interesting 2023, to say the least.
I'm still going to be here until after Holy Week, so my personal "journey" as it were isn't over yet. This is going to be a weekend of rest after a very busy workweek and I don't think we're going to do anything too crazy this weekend. That'll mean more quality time with the boys, maybe some time in the pool, or whatever. I'm definitely going to catch up on reading as well.
This has been a good week.
