02C5B: Missed Activities

Tuesday Dinner

Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 1095

Connected with yesterday's digital filing discussion, I found time throughout the day to continue to digitize our stuff. I managed to clear our utility bills dating back to 2012 (the Cubao days) until today, and it felt pretty good. It's weird how this sort of thing can be a fun little stress reliever. Although our current garbage bag is just filled with badly shredded paper. Talk about a PII buffet.

Well, I tried. Haha

My focus on my filing disrupted my steps at the end of the day. As much as I've been excited about my daily step goal, I missed out on those little reminders to get up every hour and walk at least 250 steps. I hate it when I miss an interval or so - it just means I wasn't focused on it enough throughout the day. Most days are great, but I still miss out from time to time and it annoys me to no end.

At least I'm sorta back to jogging again. It's a struggle most of the time and I'm only really doing 15-20 runs and then I walk a longer route home. But it's still worth something and I do feel better after. I still want to balance this with some yoga, but I'm trying to make the most of the cooler air that's still lingering this month which helps make the sunny morning not so unbearable.

I'm not sure when I'll feel up to using our resistance bands or lifting weights again. I'm trying to give my arm as much time to recover as opposed to delaying things with more yoga work. But this can only go on for so long - my weight has been creeping back up and I don't want to lose what limited "gains" I've achieved in terms of my strength and (very limited) definition here and there.

But recovery comes first.
