Today has been a pretty long day, but we have quite a history of busy Wednesdays. But it wasn't an overly stressful kind of busy at least. There was just a lot to do and then a lot of time needed for other things. Briefly, my day included running more ads, changing the office mesh router system, and a lengthy in-person meetup with a group of clients. So yeah, it was a good day.
I still have work for the rest of the week, but that's always the literal post-hump day shift in deliverables that makes Thursdays one of our lighter workdays in the week. I don't have any meetings scheduled, but I do have a good number of reports that I hope to settle so that don't carry over into Friday.
But hey, this all comes with the territory and I'm still glad the family is all together for Christmas. Sure, we still have work to juggle, but this also means that our parents get to spend time with their grandchildren, and my brother and I get to be uncles again if you get my drift. That helps make all the work stress feel worth the hassle.
I hope you're all having a pretty good December as well, at the very least.
