Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 990
As I start composing this blog entry, I'm thinking about a report for work that I want to work on before bed. It's due in the morning and it could take me up to 3 hours to put it together, which is a little tight. But then again, it's late and I should be resting instead of working some more.
In any case, I think I'll keep this blog post short in order to leave me with enough time for options.
Work was naturally busy given we were out on Monday. I very carefully went through each email in my inbox in order to avoid missing anything this time around and I'd like to think I cleared my queue pretty efficiently. My one day away wasn't so bad and I think I got through things okay.
I even made time to set up next year's holidays in our HRIS and the results were pretty interest. The current administration had already revised our Philippine holidays to follow GMA-style scheduling where many holidays were moved to Mondays in order to create more long weekends. But on the Singapore side, a lot of holidays ended up on Sundays, which also triggers automatic in-lieu days on the Monday after. So 2023 is going to be pretty interesting on the holiday front.
In other random news, Tobie is going to be out on Friday for a company outing and that'll leave me alone for the night. I've already made some board game plans but I'm not sure if I'm just going to stick to one friend or more. It's not as fun hosting without Tobie so I'm sure I'm going to stick closer friends for comfort.
