Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 959
Tonight is O Bar's big Halloween Liberation party and naturally, the ongoing Typhoon Paeng is of significant concern. It's obviously not the smartest thing to step out given the weather, but things sem to have settle down enough to make it worth the effort. Plus we know the O Bar team has put a lot of effort into this event, and we certainly want to show our support. Plus this is all factored into our travel plans for this week as well.
Weather permitting, we're scheduled to fly to Singapore tomorrow night. I made sure to scheduled a later flight so we have time to recover from tonight's O Bar festivities. But I think for the sake of prudence, we'll also try not to go too crazy with the alcohol. We're not exactly a big group going to O Bar tonight (and may even get smaller with the weather), so that should help keep things under control.
It feels like there are so many things left to do before the trip. We haven't packed our bags yet and I still want to run a few more loads of laundry before we go. I suppose it's smarter to travel with two bags but maybe we'll try to make do with just one because we're only going to be there for two weeks. We have to make sure the water gets turned off before we go (but not before our last showers and stuff) and secure the Sietch against further storm activity and what have you.
One thing at a time. For now, it's time to get ready to trek to O Bar.
