02BA2: Thursday Improvements

Thursday Tobie Dinner

Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 922

I'm rather happy with myself today. I think I had better notetaking discipline today and I made somewhat better use of my beta Notion setup. I'm kind of also contemplating dedicating a note to act as my log of everything that I do for the day so that I don't limit my notetaking to meetings and other video calls. I'm a little worried that this may be a bit too much and I'll just fall out of the habit almost immediately, so we'll see.

I'm mostly on track with my tasks for the week, so things will end rather nicely. I may sneak in one more work thing tonight just so that I have more flexibility tomorrow. Plus the fact that I have a fair number of other meetings to attend, which will eat into my productivity again. And this is how the game goes! We just have to do our best to play as best we can, as it were. And I am geeking out hard about all this, which just fuels my determination.

But hey, the end of the workweek is just around the corner, so there's that to look forward to. We have a fun game night planned and more RPGs across the weekend. Good times.

To de-stress after work today, we dove into the first three episodes of the new Andor series, and it's not bad at all. I can see that it won't be wildly popular since it's a bit of a slow burn and not as flashy as The Mandalorian was. But it feels like something you would have explored in a Star Wars novel or comic book, which is exactly the kind of geek I am.

But the safety was watching the latest episodes of She-Hulk and Star Trek: Lower Decks, and both episodes were pretty solid. Altogether, it made for some very solid post-work television.

Now we just need to find time to swing back into watching Mr. Sunshine
