02B4B: Busy With Good Things

Saturday O Bar Faces

Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 819

It's nearly midnight as I write this and I still didn't get to write updates for both The Geeky Guide to Nearly Everything and Baduy Pride despite wanting to have done so by now. Things have just been so busy that I haven't had the time to really sit down and properly map out what I want to write. I could rush it like I used to do, but that feels like a disservice to what I'm hoping to do. I can't say that I'm trying to elevate the level of writing there but then going back to the same old thing.

So patience for now - both for everyone who still follows those blogs and for myself. I want to do this right and really turn things around in order to make it a more fulfilling writing experience for me. I wish there was an easier way to go about it, but one thing at a time, I guess. Maybe I can get my drafts done tonight, even if it's too late for my self-imposed deadline.

But I can't really complain about how I've been spending my time instead.

Last night at O Bar was great. We had a solid group of friends with us at the table and managed to have a great time despite some rather rowdy guests surrounding us. The show was a lot of fun, as always, and I think I captured some good photos and videos - I'll need to find time to process them throughout the week. We had a fair amount to drink but thankfully we didn't end up overly drunk by the time we went home. It wasn't a particularly special night, but it was still a good one. And that's always something to appreciate and celebrate.

We naturally weren't all that productive today, but at least had a good Sariwon brunch, as is our weekly habit. We continued our Vincenzo journey and just decompressed after last night's craziness.

Then we had a good Night's Black Agents session where we actually have what we believe to be Dracula's body after so many sessions of being afraid that he was somehow the big bad manipulating events from behind the scenes. Our group of agents has even more questions than answers, but that's how these games keep moving forward. And our session ended with the reveal of another potential major player on the board that is sure to complicate things for our group.

We have another game set for tomorrow and other errands. I'll probably go for another long walk around  BGC as is becoming my Sunday habit as of late. Then we'll all have to get ready for another workweek.
