Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 792
The weather today has been rather oppressive. It hasn't been outright hot, but it has been very humid. It rained a bit in the afternoon but beyond that, the humidity has been a very uncomfortable blanket over everything we do. It doesn't help that we're still tired from last night's O Bar craziness (and a little hungover). So I don't feel 100% productive. I didn't work out today, but I at least hit my daily step goal.
When Tobie and I did get out of bed for errands, we headed out to SM Aura to catch lunch and then get our grocery shopping done. But the mall was really crowded with people and we barely snagged parking, then spent a lot of time finding a place to eat since everything else was full. By the time we went to the grocery, there were no more shopping carts available, so we decided to reschedule to tomorrow since we still had an online Pendragon RPG session in the afternoon.
Today also marks the first time I've baked my keto pandesal since I got back from Singapore. I skipped last week since I was feeling lazy and I had ordered up a lot of stuff from Keto Filipino. But this week I wanted to go back to my previous routine, hence the need to bake again. It wasn't my best batch, but it was nice to get back into the flow of things.
We had a pretty good game session despite the humidity. Then we've just been watching TV after that while trying not to succumb to the uncomfortable weather. We're still working through My Love From the Star, but we're balancing this with the latest season of The Circle, because we all need some trash TV in our lives.
Thankfully, I don't have work tomorrow because of a Singapore holiday. I've only scheduled a foot spa for myself since I'll still have some work to do and Tobie has a regular Monday. Beyond that, I only plan to cook all meals, get my O Bar photos and videos processed, and then go grocery shopping with Tobie (hopefully) after he finishes work for the day.
