Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 653
While things were relatively quiet on the client-side of things, that didn't mean today was a light workday. If anything, it was a pretty busy Monday even as far as Mondays go and I still have a number of tasks that were left on my to-do list by the end of the day - I guess I'll just catch up with them tomorrow.
I'm at least glad that I won't have work on Friday - others may have as few as three working days this week because of the 30 December holiday, but I'll take what I can get. Plus I do need the rest of the time to get things done so that we don't start January feeling particularly overwhelmed.
Today is also Dad's birthday, and our main celebration of sorts became another online Jackbox game session with the family. It's really funny how much everyone is getting into things and I'm starting to feel the pressure of running out of new games to make them try. And this is considering I have all 8 Jackbox Party Packs released thus far - we've been trying each of them one after another and we've really been moving steadily through the library.
We're down to the last few days of the year and I want to spend the rest of the night either trying to finish reading a few more books (although I've already achieved my 365-book reading goal for 2021) but more importantly to unbox more Transformers so that I can clear my "queue" before the fireworks go off on Friday.
Wish me luck, folks.
