Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 635
Today was a LOT. I definitely had the feeling of trying to keep different plates spinning at the same time as I went through monthly reports, discussed results with clients, interviewed applicants, and worked on media plans. And there were a lot of other things, plus some lingering stress from some administrative concerns that still haven't been resolved and I'm still hoping against hope that things will be better tomorrow.
Fingers and toes crossed.
I didn't have the headspace to cook anything today, and I super appreciate that Tobie took up the slack and handled our meals for the day. I ended up staying off the company Gather Town for most of the day since I was jumping from call to call on different platforms plus I wanted to be able to focus on some of the other tasks I was trying to get done. I still have a fair amount left to do tomorrow, and I get all angsty and nervous just thinking about how much there's left to get done.
We had a great Baduy Pride episode, so there's that as a happy achievement for the day. We also got started on Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha on Netflix, and it's definitely the right light of light fare I need for workweeks like this. There's that and finally the second season of Zumbo's Just Desserts, so I have all the de-stressing content I need for now.
It's very late and my eyes already feel heavy, but I kinda want to cut my hair before bed because I can be a stubborn weirdo that way.
