Metro Manila Community Quarantine - 398
I am out of brain. It's been quite the busy week and I can't really invest more cerebral energy into things. And that's rather ironic given now I should have time for the things that I actually want to do, but instead, I'm struggling to find the motivation to do so. The workweek just took a lot out of me, I guess.
But that's what weekends are for, right? Parking your brain and getting some rest. But, I'm still the sort of person whose recreational hobbies tend to involve a lot of brain power, so I'll need to find a proper balance to things.
I need to catch up on my reading - I still haven't gotten past the finish line for Haruki Murakami's Killing Commentadore, and that copy of Doctor Who: The Gunglingers is languishing in the bathroom. I also want to spend some time playing my Steam games. I still haven't finished unlocking all the characters in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, and I also want to spend more time with Planet Zoo. Heck, I even want to go back to Stellaris in preparation for the Stellaris Infinite Legacy board game.
But we also have a number of new board games to explore and I should make time to play with Tobie. Computer games are fun, but board games remain to be near and dear to our hearts and are one of the biggest reasons I don't play more computer games. We also have some online RPG sessions scheduled for the weekend, so there's that to look forward to as well.
In the meantime, I still need to wash the coffee maker and settle some laundry. That's the other things floating around in the background - chores.
