Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 390
I wasn't my best self yesterday, but today went a lot better. A few things of note:
Lazada - The follow-ups to my canceled Lazada order have been interesting. After receipting a system-generated P100 voucher, a phone agent offered me P300 in Lazada Wallet credits and today I got another email for a P50 voucher. I'm still annoyed that they can't explain why the system canceled my first order in the first place, but all these vouchers will go a long way towards making me feel better. I may not have big Lazada purchases, but I have been shifting a lot of my regular shopping needs to the platform, so that's something.
LitteRetailPH - One such discovery in my recent Lazada experiments is this particular specialty good store that has a LOT of interesting keto-friendly products and has its own storefront and a Lazada storefront as well. I had first tried them out for psyllium husk and theirs works so much better for my keto pandesal versus what I was getting at Real Food. I've been experimenting with them even more and this last order has largely eliminated my need to go to the Real Food down the street at all. That's one less reason to leave the house.
Planet Zoo - After much deliberation since the game went on sale over the weekend, I finally bit the bullet and bought myself a copy off Planet Zoo by Frontier Developments. I don't think I'm going to be as crazy creative with the game as the likes of Let's Game It Out, but I have been super curious about the experience. And after the stress of the work week, I think this should work out for me.
