Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 363

Guys, we'll be celebrating the 1-year anniversary of the first Metro Manila community quarantine on Monday - the same day that we are implementing our first standardized curfew across all of Metro Manila come 10:00pm. We have certainly come so far in the fight against COVID-19 in this country.

And this is just one of the highlights from this colorful week.

Tobie and I both had a lot of stuff going on at work, but what else is new for 2021, right? Things were also kind of crazy within our social circles, which is funny to say while remaining socially distant from one another. At least things okay with our respective families - that's something to be thankful for.

I was really looking forward to things finally reaching a point where Metro Manila can legitimately go to the more relaxed MGCQ status, but our new 2021-high of 4,578 new COVID-19 cases today really doesn't help give one hope. I guess a relatively safe re-opening for O Bar is not in our immediate future, at least for the month of March.

Things could be better. Things could be worse. But really, things could be REALLY better by now.
