Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 333
Another productive day! Certainly, a nice way to wrap up the week before the lengthy Chinese New Year holiday period ahead. There's going to be a lot of work waiting for all of us to come next week, as is the nature of post-holiday periods. But the trade-off should be pretty manageable and ultimately worth it.
We have a lot of gaming mapped out for the weekend ahead, which is really nice. This includes game plans all the way through Valentine's Day, but I see nothing wrong with gaming on that particular day. If it counts for anything, we actually ended up setting a game schedule with another couple, so that still feels like an appropriate celebration.
Outside of the games, I do have a few items I want to address:
Unboxing Stuff - A good number of Transformers orders from late 2020 and early 2021 have started to gather around the Sietch, and I really need to sit down and unbox them, photo-document them and figure out longer-term homes for them in our very full condo unit.
Dracula Research - I've been working on dissecting the various marginal notes in the Dracula Dossier as part of our Night's Black Agents RPG game. Our next session isn't until the 20th, and I'm hoping to get through the 400+ pages of text before then while I have the time.
Board Game Documentation - I have a long-running project of scanning the front and back covers of all of our board games in our collection. There are a lot of games that have slipped through the cracks, and it would be nice to chase some of them down during the free days.
Reading, Reading, Reading - I will always need more time to read. Still my favorite hobby.
Video Games - Then there's the big hope of working through more of my pending video games. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 has been my main casual entertainment on and off, but there's also The Outer Worlds, that I haven't been able to play in weeks. Hmm.
